Launched in 2011, The expo has grown to be Asia’s largest show with over 150 national and international exhibitors showcasing traffic/transport related technology and products in ITS, Tolling, Telematics, Capacity building, and Safety/Security. As India is setting high standards in terms of creating quality infrastructure at a shortest period of time and inclusion of technology in all aspects of traffic and transport management, the Expo gains importance in bridging the gap between technology/systems seekers and providers.

The Government of India has been providing strong budgetary support to road infrastructure attracting inflow of global technology and knowhow. Investment of US$ 31 billion for national highways is expected in PPP by 2020 .The Government of India aims to complete 200,000 km national highways by 2022. The creation of over 100 smart cities will propel the traffic/transport security market to a growth of 22.7%cagr during 2019 to 2025. To achieve the ambitious target th Indian Government has set itself for Road safety, there is a huge requirement for world class safety systems.
